If you're familiar with Craigslist.org, you won't be suprised to know that teens make money there!

Craigslist is a fantastic and basically free website for people to place ads... in some cities though, people pay to place job or real estate ads on Craigslist.

Since you're probably not selling real estate or hiring employees on Craigslist, this shouldn't bother you.

The cities like San Francisco that require payment to post an ad at least have less junk on their employment sites.

Go to the main Craigslist.org site and find the nearest city to you.

Once you're there, you can look for "jobs".

I know teens right now who every August/September can find work as "campus representatives" for major companies who want someone to help them market on campus.

So if you're going to college, this can put a nice $5,000 or more in your pocket every school year. You can find these listings if there's a college with dorms nearby. I've seen quite a few... I just didn't attend those colleges!

Can you clean carpets, lift furniture, baby sit, tutor, rake leaves, cut grass, "detail cars", fix things, paint houses,etc?

If you can you'll soon find why Craigslist.org is an "entrepreneurial engine".

Go to the nearest Craigslist.org city.

Find "Services" and put an add under "Small Biz" or "Household services" and you can soon be another teen making money thanks to Craig at Craigslist.

For example...You could put an ad for "carpet cleaning" on Craigslist, get people emailing or calling you about carpet cleaning, go to the "rental center" nearest you and rent a carpet cleaning machine, do the job and get paid right away. (Be sure to know what the rental and supplies costs before you place the ad so you cover your expenses!)

Better yet, place an ad and schedule several carpet cleaning jobs for the same day and just rent the carpet cleaning machine once.

You could be buying your own equipment soon.

Hundreds of businesses have gotten started nation wide just this way thanks to Craigslist.org

If you can tutor in a subject, you don't even have to rent any equipment!

Once you get a few customers, you may not need to advertise anymore!

You can also check the section on "Gigs" for fast jobs.

But please beware not to give out personal information online.

Young women especially need to be cautious in answering ads for potential marketing and promotion ads seeking attractive girls.

Respond with a friend and cell phone. Let your parents know exactly where you're going. Drive by where you're supposed to meet your "employers" and if the least suspicious, drive off! Better safe than sorry!
