Summer Businesses Win Start Up Cash

Summer Business ventures that help teens learn how to make money can sometimes turn into windfalls of cash that help get a real business started. So what have you been doing this summer?

Summer businesspeople took centre stage during the Youth Entrepreneur Showcase on Thursday in the Cambrian Mall, using the chance to get some much needed publicity.

Through the program, young entrepreneurs 15-29 with a viable business idea can each receive up to $3,000 to start their businesses during summers away from school.
